<![CDATA[The research goal is to investigate the influence of preceptorship clinical supervision using Banduraâs social cognitive modeltoward clinical competence improvement of nursing diploma students. This research was quasi experiment using pre-posttest with control groups design. The subjects of this research were nursing diploma students who performed internship in RSJ Grhasia during 6-25 April 2015. Twenty four students which were divided into 2 groups, each of which consisted of 12 students as experimental and the rest played in control groups. Random sampling technique was used as sampling technique, the data was analyzed using independent sample T test. The results showed that preceptorship clinical supervision using Banduraâs social cognitive model improvedthe studentsâ clinical competence. The experiment groupsâ mean of the gain score was 112 (SD±2,958), while the control groupâs was 90,83 (SD±17,0,39). Thus, it can be concluded that preceptorship clinical supervision using Banduraâs social cognitive model can improve student clinical competencies compare to conventional clinical supervision method. This research can be used as a reference in developing guidance services of students through preceptorship guidance to improve clinical competence of nursing diploma students.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to improve the career aspirations of students through Islamic group guidance services. The design study is pre experimental with one type of group pre-test and post-test design. The research subjects were ten students of guidance and counseling Teacher Training College PGRI Madiun taken by purposive sampling technique. Data collection instrument used a scale of career aspirations. Analysis of data to test the effectiveness of the guidance of Islamic groups used the Wilcoxon test. The results of data analysis show a comparison z-score of -2.810 with a probability value of 0.005. Career aspirations of students before being given the Islamic guidance (pretest) showed an average score of 96.5 and after being given counseling the Islamic group (posttest) showed an average score of 131.5. It can be concluded that the Islamic group guidance services can improve studentsâ career aspirations of guidance and counseling Teacher Training College PGRI Madiun. The results of this study can be used as an additional reference for guidance and counseling course lecturers and counselors at universities for improving the career aspirations of students through Islamic group guidance services.]]>

<![CDATA[This research aimed to know the effectiveness of classical guidance service program to increase studentsâ self-control. It used quantitative approach with quasi experiment using non equivalent pretest-posttest control group design. Subjects of the research were 80 students who were taken by cluster random sampling technique. They were divided into two groups, 40 students were in experimental group and 40 students were in control group. To collect data this research used interview guide and self-control scale. Data analysis technique which was used to test the effectiveness of classical guidance service program was Anacova analysis. The analysis result shows negative value 11.694 with coefficient t=4.259 and p+0.000. Based on research result it can be concluded that classical guidance services program was effective to increase studentsâ self-control. The results of this research are useful for guidance and counseling teachers to help students to increase self-control through classical guidance services program.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the effectiveness of storytelling technique using Malang mask puppets media to enhance the fairness of elementary school studentsâ character. The research design is true experiment with pretest-posttest one-group designs. The subject of research was ten students of grade VI Elementary School in Malang determined through the random assignment technique. Data collection instruments used questionnaires of character fairness and observation guidelines. Data analysis technique was used to test the effectiveness of the Storytelling technique using Wilcoxon test. The results of data analysis shows significant value (sig) 0.005> 0.05, which means that the hypothesis is accepted. So we can conclude that storytelling technique using a Malang mask media can improve effectively the character of fairness of grade VI elementary school students. The results of this study is useful for elementary school teachers and guidance and counseling teachers as an alternative to an effective technique to develop character fairness of elementary school students.]]>

<![CDATA[This research aimed to know the relationship between self confidence with studentsâ achievement and career planning of grade VIII SMP Negeri 3 Bantul. The research used quantitative approach with correlation type. Research subjects were 93 students who were taken through random sampling technique from 186 populations of students. Data analysis technique which was used to know correlation between variables was double linear correlation. The analysis result showed determinate coefficient value (R²) =0.528, it means that the high expectation for career planning was caused by self confidence and studentsâ achievement was 52.8% and the rest 47.2% was caused by other variables such as physics, psychology, and environment. It can be concluded that there re is a positive correlation between self confidence and studentsâ achievement with studentsâ career planning of grade VIII SMP Negeri 3 Bantul. The research results are beneficial for counselors as the description of self confidence, studentsâ achievement, and career planning condition which can be considered in arranging guidance and counseling services program for students at school.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aimed to describe the students perception of guidance and counseling teachers in the implementation of individual counseling services. This research is descriptive quantitative with data collection instruments in the form of a questionnaire. The research subjects was 36 students of grade IX SMP Negeri 2 Kebumen taken through purposive sampling technique. The perception of students towards guidance and counseling teachers in the implementation of individual counseling services were analyzed using a simple calculation with a grouping of three criteria: good, average, and poor. The results showed that students perception of guidance and counseling teachers in the implementation of the services of individual counseling class IX SMP Negeri 2 Kebumen as many as 21 (58%) are in good category, 53 (42%) are in the average category, and 0 (0%) in the poor category. The results of this study can be used as a feedback and self-evaluation materials for guidance and counseling teachers in developing the quality of individual counseling services in schools.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study is to determine the increase of time management understanding through group guidance with problem solving techniques. This research is a classroom action research with cross sectional type. The subjects of research were ten students of class VII A SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Yogyakarta taken by purposive sampling technique. Data collection instrument used was in the form of a questionnaire of time management understanding. Data analysis technique to test the effectiveness of group guidance was problem solving technique which is to improve the understanding of time management of SMP students using the Wilcoxon test. The results of data analysis shows a mean of time management understanding before the action of problem solving techniques was 55.30 and the average after problem solving techniques given was 78.60. Wilcoxon test results shows p = 0.005 so that we can conclude that there is an increase of time management understanding of SMP students after using group guidance with problem solving techniques. The results of this study can be useful for guidance and counseling teachers as a consideration material in improving the understanding of studentsâ time management through group guidance services using problem solving techniques.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the understanding improvement of career exploration through group guidance services with a group discussion technique. This study uses classroom action research conducted in two cycles. The research subjects are eight students of grade IX E SMP Muhammadiyah 7 Yogyakarta, taken by using purposive sampling. Data collection instruments use understanding questionnaires of career exploration and observation guidelines. An understanding of the students career exploration before and after group guidance services group by group discussion techniques were analyzed using t-test formula. Results of data analysis obtained by value t = 7.812> t table (1.895), with the results mean score of 119.87 pretest and posttest mean score increased to 155.75. The results of this study concluded there is an understanding improvement of career exploration through group guidance services with the student a group discussion technique. The results of this study can be used as information for guidance and counseling teachers in an effort to improve the understanding of students career exploration through group guidance services by utilizing the technique of a group discussion.]]>

<![CDATA[This research aims to find out the effectiveness of rational emotive behavioral counseling through imagery technique as an effort to enhance the psychological resilience of the students with low socio-economy status. This research used quantitative-qualitative approach with mixed research method. Quasi experimental design to test the effectiveness of the intervention useing non-equivalentpretest-posttest control group design. It was conducted in Universitas Pendidikan Indonesiain Serang Regional Campus by 160 students as participants who were selected using purposive sampling technique. The data was collected by using Adolescenceâs Resilience Scale and Activity Journal. The result indicated that rational emotive behavioral counseling through imagery technique proved empirically effective to enhance the resilience of the students with low socio-economy status. Based on t-test from pretest and posttest experiment group result, it can be seen that H0 was rejected (t count = 8.152 and t table=1.760.) This research can be used as a reference in improving the resilience of students with low socio-economic status by the guidance and counseling sevice unit in universities, lecturers, counselors at the college to improve low economic status studentsâ resilience.]]>
